Fire detection and alarm system
A Flame and Fire Detector is an alarm device intended to detect the occurrence of fire or flame using different detection techniques such as infrared, ultraviolet, or a mix of both. Flame and fire detectors are usually installed in industrial buildings, commercial structures, and risky environments to give prompt alarm of a fire occurrence. By rapidly detecting the heat or light signature of fire, the system can sound alarms, initiate fire suppression systems, or alert emergency responders, thus reducing damage and improving safety. Contemporary flame detectors provide high sensitivity, rapid response, and immunity to false alarms due to sunlight, welding, or other light sources.
